  The first time I came I was greeted by the nicest lady who was friendly and helpful. I got the kalbi bowl with brown rice. HUGE portions, enough for two meals. Absolutely delicious. Today I came again because I wanted to try something else. I was helped by the owner himself. This guy was on the grill, walking the food out to the tables, AND taking orders at the cash register. This guy was busting his ass and SMILING THE WHOLE TIME. He was the only one there and I was one of maybe 6 other patrons. Service didn't suffer one bit. He was quick, efficient, and super professional. He recommended the hot dog with squid salad on top (sounds weird but trust me it's bomb!). I got that along with zucchini fries. Everything was great. He was so observant with all the customers, bringing to-go boxes when they are about finished, asking everyone if things tasted alright. You can feel how much he loves his little restaurant.
  
  Go check them out! Come for the flavor explosions, stay for the top notch service.

  I stumbled in here while waiting for my bike to be tricked out next door.   I was extremely impressed by the Garlic Chef & the wait person.  I felt so welcomed.  My first impression was how cool the decor was, of course I noticed the exotic soda selection, and I loved all the branded Cloudy Garlic merchandise.
       Garlic does deliver on its mission statement: "We focus on bold flavors by using honest ingredients." On Chef's suggestion, I ordered Korean beef-holic, a bulgogi influenced spinach salad to go. Adorable staff member walked my Garlic themed lunch over to Budget Bikes!  OMG, the flavors were muses to my senses!  The portion, enormous.  
       True, prices are a tad high for everyday lunch. I will make excuses to fix my new wheels  @ Budget Bikes next door, just to try another combination: something with "added fried egg, pickled ginger & house chili." Oh, hahaha: my bud-loving friends:  it's totally the place to get your munchies on.  Simply park @ the Target lot and weave ya'selves over.  Garlic: Can you get your beer & wine license, please?  Love you

  Came here to visit from Toronto and after all the shake shack, in and outs and other food places, this is probably the best spot i've ever had in LA!
  
  Great food, great prices, great portions and awesome service!!
  
  10/10 recommend if youre in the area!

  I got the the meatball sandwich ohhh my lanta them meat balls holly meatball!!! NOW THAT IS A GARLIC MEATBALL!!!!!  Very tasty food, friendly staff, fresh food cook to order! ( a bit of a wait but worth it) had the yucca fries different of what I'm use to but in a good way! Definitely a part to come back! Also tried the beef bowl (unsure of the name) very tasty meat soft cook with a gang of favor. But definitely try the meatball sandwich, but just so you know it's huge o my ate half!

  I've seen this place on my drive home and I'm glad I finally decided to stop and give it a try! I totally didn't expect the selection of sodas when you walk in. That's already a win. I'm a craft soda junkie! Then the menu! I love the variety to the way they can prepare the food. Rice bowl, salad, burrito, sandwich. I chose a chicken rice bowl and let me tell you it was enough for two people. The serve it in a small/med sized skillet. With a side of tots! Win! The service was fabulous considering it was one cashier and one chef. They were so attentive and very friendly. I will be back to try the meatball dish.
